ESONG's solution showcased by ScotRail
On March 26, 2024, ScotRail deployed more than 1,000 body cameras across its railway network.
This device is easy to use and has a battery life that lasts beyond a full shift. It reliably captures high-quality footage, securely storing and organizing time, date, and location details to maintain the integrity of evidence for incident investigations. Designed with safety and simplicity in mind, it can capture up to 30 seconds of pre- and post-event footage from the moment the camera is activated, helping staff handle tasks efficiently.
The safety of our staff and passengers is our top priority. Where body cameras have been used, we have already seen a positive impact on morale and staff confidence, as well as a reduction in reported incidents, helping to ensure safer environments on our trains and in our stations," said David Lister, ScotRail’s Director of Safety, Engineering, and Sustainability. "We are providing body cameras to all frontline staff, and any team member who wishes to use a camera can now do so.
The body cameras are provided to customers as an ODM solution by E-Song Digital Limited, with both the hardware and software developed jointly by ESONG and its subsidiary brand, KEHAN.
