ESONG’s solution has become the new favorite of the Thuringia Police in Germany
On August 14, 2024, the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior in Germany signed a framework agreement to procure over 1,200 body cameras for the Thuringia police force. The police across the state will use these new devices to help frontline teams mitigate potentially dangerous situations, support accountability, and improve the safety of officers and the public
This week, as the cameras were officially put into use, Thuringia's Minister of the Interior, Georg Maier, handed over the first batch of cameras to officers at the Erfurt State Police Inspectorate.
These body cameras won't make our police work easier, but they will make it safer," said Maier. "Body cameras can deter dangerous behavior, and video evidence helps provide officers and the community with a more comprehensive understanding of incidents
These cameras will be rolled out alongside evidence management software, enabling officers to easily upload, securely store, and manage video footage. With AI multimodal search technology and generative AI, the footage can be organized by time, date, and location, efficiently integrating into the police force's existing daily workflow.
The body cameras are provided to customers as an ODM solution by E-Song Digital Limited, with both the hardware and software developed jointly by ESONG and its subsidiary brand, KEHAN.
