ESONG’s solution helped its client secure a £13.3m contract with the Scottish Police
This year, the Scottish Government allocated a record £1.55 billion to the Scottish Police. E-Song Digital Limited's partner client, with the help of ESONG's ODM solution, secured the first batch contract worth £13.3 million (approximately $16 million), providing a total of 10,500 body cameras. The body camera can reliably capture high-quality video and audio, providing an objective record of events to assist frontline officers in documenting incidents and increasing the trust of the communities they serve. The footage is automatically uploaded to VideoManager for secure storage, where it can be tracked and audited, protecting the chain of custody so that the police, the public, and the judicial system can ensure the integrity of the video evidence.
The body cameras used by the Scottish Police are provided to customers as an ODM solution by E-Song Digital Limited, with both the hardware and software jointly developed by ESONG and its subsidiary brand, KEHAN.
At the same time, ESONG’s multimodal search engine solution can efficiently and accurately search stored data for relevant video, voice, human figures, and text graphics, greatly facilitating evidence collection for the police.
Not only the Scottish Police, but other UK police forces and global law enforcement agencies (including the French National Police, Lithuanian National Police, and Austrian Police Forces) have also chosen this body camera and evidence solution.
